- The Winter 2008 Co-ed Flag Football League will begin in Mid December 2008 and played through the End of February 2009.
- Saturday Morning Games will be played at Braddock Park Turf Field #7 in Clifton, VA.
- The games will be 50 minutes long, with the first game beginning at 9am and the last game ending at 3pm
- Each team shall field eight players, with at least three women at all times.
- Every third play must be a female play (See rules for more details)
- The season will consist of 8-10 regular season games plus 1 week of playoffs (all games are weather permitting).
- The Team Regstration fee is $600 before November 9th and $700 after November 10th. Registration ends on November 24th.
- The Individual Registration fee is $55 for Males and $30 for Females before November 9th and $65 after November 10th. Registration ends on November 24th..
- Each free agent team will consist of 10 males and 6 females.

- Late Registration after November 24, 2008 will be based on League Availability.

- The Winter 2008 Mens Flag Football League will begin on Sunday, December 7th, 2008.
- Sunday Evening Games will be played at a Turf Field in Fairfax County
- The games will be 60 minutes long, with the first game beginning at 7:00pm and the last game ending at 11pm
- Each team shall field eight male players at all times.
- The season will consist of 8 regular season games plus 1-2 weeks of playoffs (all games are weather permitting).
- The Team Regstration fee is $700 before November 9th and $800 after November 10th. Registration ends on November 24th.
- The Individual Registration fee is $65 for Males before November 9th and $75 after November 10th. Registration ends on November 24th
- Each free agent team will consist of 16 males.
- Click on the Register Online Tab to Register. Registration fees are refundable only at the discretion of Fairfax Athletics
- Late Registration after November 24, 2008 will be based on League Availability.
- Must be 21 years or older to register
- Mens League Rules will be very similar to the Co-ed League minus the Closed Plays and Blocking at the Line.

- Cheaper Team / Individual (Free Agent) Fees - Our fees are much less expensive than other sport leagues.
- Longer Season - You are guaranteed to play 8-10 games, and possibly 1-3 more if your team makes the playoffs (weather and field permitting).
- Straight & Accurate Field - The fields will be perfectly aligned so you won't ever have to worry about crooked or misaligned fields again.
- Cleat / Spike Cleaner - Each sideline will have a rubber Spike Cleaner for better traction.
- Yardline Markers - The field will have a G, 20, and 40 yardline marker on the sidelines, as well as Endzone Pylons.
- Convenient Field Location & Parking - Field locations will be centrally located and have plenty of parking.
- Electric Game Clock & Scoreboard - FXA will provide a Digital Scoreboard at the middle of the sideline so players can actually see the game time and score.
- Game Music - FXA will provide an IPOD HiFi Music System that will play music during the games. Teams are encouraged to plug in their own IPOD during their games.
- Qualified & Experienced Referees - FXA will provide 1 Head Referee and 1 Sideline referee that understand the rules completely, and have years of flag football officiating experience.
- Playbooks - Under the Cool Links tab to the right, we offer several different playbooks to give you the competitive edge.
- Free Team Websites - Every Team will have thier own Webpage to post pictures, rosters, player stats, games schedules, etc.
- Game Cancellation Notification System - Players will be notified via email and text message when games are cancelled (Captians must upload Rosters into the system).
- Social Sports League - There will be scheduled activities and parties throughout the season. EVERY MEMBER of FXA will be invited to participate, so you will meet people from the Soccer, Kickball, and Softball leagues. More details will follow throughour the season.

Please read the below bullets if you are registering as an Individual / Free Agent
- If you would like to be placed on the same team with another individual, there's a question during registration that will allow you to list their name(s).
- Please accurately list your Skill Set (Beginner, Intermediate, or Expert) and Preferrred Position (QB, WR, Rusher, Linebacker, CB, etc) so we can evenly distribute players on each Free Agent team
- We need two (2) volunteers to be the Captain and Co-Captain of each Free Agent team, so if you're interested, there's a quesion during registration that will allow you to volunteer
- Each Free Agent team will need a Team Name and Shirt Color, so get creative and have a few ideas ready to suggest to your new team.
