Fairfax Athletics Co-ed, Men's, & Women's Flag Football 
Fairfax Athletics (FXA) is the largest Co-ed & Men's Adult Flag Football League in Northern Virginia (VA/DC/MD) averaging over 150 teams each season (456 Teams total for 2012). We offer both team and individual (free agent) registrations for our Spring, Summer, Fall, and Winter seasons. That's right, we play football year round and had over 985 teams & 15,800 players in 2012 (Includes all FXA Sports).
To keep competition evenly matched, FXA offers several different divisions (Rookie, Casual, Competitive, & Elite) for teams ranging in skill sets. All games are officiated by qualified & experienced referees and played on turf & grass fields painted / lined for flag football. After the games, our Sponsor Bars provide beer & food specials for teams to socialize and meet other players.

Team Managers / Coaches now have the ability to enter player stats on the website. You can keep track of:
TDs, Catches, Drops, Ints, Sacks, Tackles, QB Stats, and many more...
There is also a tab called Top 20 Player Stats on the top left side of the home page
that will highlight the Top 20 Players.
This feature is Now Available for ALL teams at NO COST. Click on the new FAQ / Using the Website tab for stat entry instructions.
Who will have the most TDs this season...? We won't know unless you keep track.

Individual (Free Agent) Registration is now closed for this season, but teams always need players (especially females), so we suggest that you add yourself to our Free Agent Players List so teams can contact you if they need additional players for their team or if they're short on players and need a few subs for a game or two.

We average over 125 teams per season
Cheaper Team / Individual Fees:
Our fees are much less expensive than other sport leagues.
Individual (Free Agent) Registration Available:
We offer individual registration for people new to the area or players that just want to meet new friends.
Longer Season:
You are guaranteed to play 8 games, and possibly 1-3 more if your team makes the playoffs (weather and field permitting).
FXA offers Flag Football Year-Round
We play flag football in all 4 seasons (Spring, Summer, Fall, & Winter)
Straight & Accurate Lined Fields:
The fields will be perfectly aligned and lined with field paint so you won't ever have to worry about crooked or misaligned fields again.
Cleat / Spike Cleaner:
Each sideline will have a rubber Spike Cleaner for better traction.
Yardline Markers:
The field will have a G, 20, and 40 yardline marker on the sidelines, as well as Endzone Pylons.
Convenient Field Location & Parking:
Field locations will be centrally located and have plenty of parking.
Game Music:
FXA will provide an IPOD Music System that will play music during the games. Teams are encouraged to plug in their own IPOD during their games. (Only available if field has electricity)
Qualified & Experienced Referees:
FXA will provide 1 Head Referee and 1 Sideline referee that understand the rules completely, and have years of flag football officiating experience.
Playbooks:
Under the Flag Football Playbooks tab to the right, we offer several different playbooks to give you the competitive edge.
Free Team Websites:
Every Team will have thier own Webpage to post pictures, rosters, player stats, games schedules, etc.
Game Cancellation Notification System:
Players will be notified via email and text message when games are cancelled (Captains must enter Roster information into the system).
Social Sports League: There will be scheduled activities and parties throughout the season. EVERY MEMBER of FXA will be invited to participate, so you will meet people from the Soccer, Kickball, Softball, and Dodgeball leagues. More details will follow throughout the season.
